Рокн Аль-Дин, живший в 8 веке в городе Язд, был потомком Пророка Мухаммада (Да благословит его Аллах и приветствует!) через его дочь Фатиму (Да будет мир с ней!) и внука Хусейна (Да будет мир с ним!). Поэтому, он носил почётный титул “сейид” и пользовался особым уважением у жителей Язда. Он, как и все потомки Великого Пророка Ислама, носил чёрную чалму и имел большие привилегии: мог ходатайствовать за преступников, а сам не подлежал телесным наказаниям и смертной казни.
Но не этим Сейид Рокн Аль-Дин вошёл в историю и Язда, и Ирана. В 8 веке, когда грамотность была уделом немногих, он, будучи учёным и мистиком, основал в Язде школу Рокни-е. В этой школе, в великолепном по тем временам здании, была оборудована астрономическая обсерватория, аптека и церемониальные помещения для верующих. Но главным здесь была богатейшая по тем временам библиотека. Её 3000 рукописных книг были по всем областям знаний и веры. После смерти Сейида Рокн Аль-Дина благодарные горожане возвели при школе величественный мавзолей, а сама могила учёного стала объектом поклонения. Этот мавзолей стоит и поныне, хотя в 14 веке был основательно перестроен.
В Сказочном Язде великое множество памятников давно минувших веков. Это не удивительно: городу удалось избежать великих нашествий и катастрофических разрушений. В Язде каждая улица, каждое здание дышат историей. Здесь можно самому пройти по улицам, по которым ходил собеседник самого Бога – Искандер Зуркарнайн, покоритель двух рогов Вселенной – Запада и Востока. А жители Язда даже утверждают, что в одну из ночей года и на одной из из улиц Старого Язда можно услышать на давно здесь забытом языке легендарного Гомера подлинный голос великого македонца…
Великолепен купол мавзолея!
Ночью, освещённый синим светом и на фоне чёрного неба, он производит фантастическое впечатление. Купол виден со всех возвышенных точек города. И по мнению гостей города может претендовать на символ Сказочного Язда.

Mausoleum of Seyyid Rockne Al-Din
Rockn Al-Din, who lived in Yazd in the 8th century, was a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) through his daughter Fatima (peace be with her!) But it was not this that Seyyed Rockn Al-Din went down in history and Yazd, and Iran. In the 8th century, when literacy was the lot of a few, he, as a scientist and mystic, founded the Rocky school in Yazd. In this school, in a magnificent building at that time, an astronomical observatory, a pharmacy and ceremonial premises for believers were equipped. But the main thing here was the richest library at that time. Her 3000 manuscripts were in all fields of knowledge and faith. After the death of Seyyid Rock-Al-Din, the grateful citizens built a mausoleum at the school, and the very grave of the scientist became the object of worship. This mausoleum still stands today, although in the 14th century it was thoroughly rebuilt.
In the Fairy Yazd there are a lot of monuments of the past centuries. This is not surprising: the city managed to avoid the great invasions and catastrophic destruction. In Yazd every street, every building breathes history. Here you can walk the streets yourself, along which the interlocutor of God Himself walked – Iskander Zurkarnayn, the conqueror of the two horns of the Universe – the West and the East. And residents of Yazd even argue that one of the nights of the year and one of the streets of Old Yazd can be heard on the long forgotten language of the legendary Homer the true voice of the great Macedonian …
The dome of the mausoleum is magnificent!
At night, illuminated by blue light and against the black sky, it produces a fantastic impression. The dome is visible from all the elevated points of the city. And according to the guests of the city can claim the symbol of the Fairy Yazd.
