Мы продолжаем наше путешествие по интересной иранской провинции Керман и её одноимённому административному центру.
Сегодня (10 ноября) мы осмотрим древнейший памятник города — купол Джабали и мечеть Имама. Наш добрый гид-советчик, администратор гостиницы господин Ахаван, советует проехать на такси до купола и сделать там остановку. На осмотр нам хватит 20-30 минут, а затем на этом же такси проехать к мечети. Цена за такси нас вполне устраивает — 150.000 реалов или 1,21 евро.
Купол Джабали находится на восточной окраине Кермана. Вокруг строения ухоженный парк, где несмотря на позднюю осень ещё цветут цветы и зеленеет трава. Постройка представляет собой восьмиугольное трёхэтажное здание увенчатое плоским куполом. Стены очень толстые, что ощущаешь уже при подходе к Джабали — в них древняя, нам мало понятная суровость старины.
Кто и для каких целей воздвиг Джабали — историкам не известно. Есть несколько предположений. Возможно до прихода сюда ислама здесь был храм зороастрийцев. В пользу этой версии — материал из которого построено здание. Это тщательно обтёсанные природные камни, из которых в исламский период уже не строили. Средневековые летописцы даже утверждали, что гипсовый раствор при строительстве Джабали здесь готовился на основе верблюжьего молока вместо воды. Чем и объясняется сохранность сооружения в течение многих веков.
Подходя к Джабали, мы встретили лишь отдыхающую супружескую пару. По их словам внутри здания ничего интересного нет — десяток могильных плит нас вряд ли заинтересуют. Мы заглянули во внутрь — так и оказалось… Тем более, что входной билет стоил для иранцев 20.000, а для гостей 100.000 реалов…
Выяснилось, что «осмотр» могильных плит входит в экскурсионную программу для организованных туристов, в основном из-за рубежья…
… А в парке мы с большим интересом полюбовались металлическим пастухом и его овечками.
Мы возвращаемся к такси и едем дальше — в центр, к мечети Имама.

Kerman is tourist. Dome of Jabali.
We continue our journey through the interesting Iranian province of Kerman and its administrative center of the same name.
Today (November 10) we will visit the oldest monument of the city – the dome of Jabali and the Imam Mosque. Our kind guide-adviser, hotel administrator Mr. Akhavan, advises you to take a taxi to the dome and stop there. We will have enough time for inspection for 20-30 minutes, and then take the same taxi to the mosque. The price for a taxi suits us perfectly – 150,000 reais or 1.21 euros.
The Jabali Dome is located on the eastern outskirts of Kerman. Around the building is a well-kept park, where despite late autumn flowers still bloom and the grass turns green. The construction is an octagonal three-story building with a flat dome. The walls are very thick, which you already feel when approaching Jabali – they have an ancient, little understood by us severity of antiquity.
Who and for what purpose erected Jabali – historians do not know. There are several suggestions. Perhaps before the arrival of Islam, there was a temple of Zoroastrians here. In favor of this version – the material from which the building is built. These are carefully trimmed natural stones from which they were no longer built in the Islamic period. Medieval chroniclers even claimed that the gypsum mortar during the construction of Jabali here was prepared on the basis of camel milk instead of water. This explains the safety of the building for many centuries.
Approaching Jabali, we met only a resting couple. According to them, there is nothing interesting inside the building – a dozen gravestones are unlikely to interest us. We looked inside – and it turned out … Moreover, the entrance ticket cost 20,000 for the Iranians, and 100,000 reais for the guests …
It turned out that the “inspection” of the gravestones is included in the excursion program for organized tourists, mainly from abroad …
… And in the park we admired the metal shepherd and his lambs with great interest.
We return to the taxi and drive further – to the center, to the Imam mosque.
